HOW TO USE HONEY
Honey, the most well-known bee product, is, as we already know, very good food, but also an excellent natural medicine.
The most habitual way of consuming honey is to eat it as food. But as medicine, besides eating it, honey can also be put into the nose (for nose diseases, ears and sinuses – infections, inflammations, allergies), locally (for skin diseases, burns, in cosmetics), into the eyes (for eye diseases), in the genital area.
In order to get the maximum benefit, we have to obey some rules:
1. Do not keep honey in the sunlight (sunshine destroys many of the enzymes that honey contains).
2. Keep the containers with honey well closed (honey can easily absorb bad external smell; honey also absorbs water in the atmosphere even when the latter is in small quantities – an excessive quantity of water in honey leads to the beginning of effervescence of honey).
3. Keep honey in cool places (even if many types of honey can be kept at the room temperature for a few years without major changes, we must know that honey grows older day by day, its quality getting lower).
4. Do not heat honey before swallowing it by mixing it with any other food (tea, coffee, milk). Heating honey destroys most of its enzymes.
5. Keep honey into your mouth (under the tongue) longer before swallowing it, thus you will allow the finest substances in the honey to go straight into the blood circuit, and you also give enough time to the tongue and to the entire structure of the oral cavity to absorb the bioenergy of honey, being sent to the whole body through its energetic structures (meridian, chakre, etc.).
